Is my Momento Journal private?
100%. Private by default. PIN-protected from the first tap.
Your Momento Archive sits behind the six-digit Owner PIN you create when you first open Momento. On any device, a tap opens the PIN screen—not your saved memories. Only the images you deliberately save or share leave your Archive—you are in full control, always!
Do I need a subscription?
No app. No subscription. No monthly fee for your included storage.
Your Momento comes with 1GB of private Archive storage and opens directly in your phone’s browser. You will need an internet connection to add, view or manage your Memory Stamps—but there is nothing extra to download or maintain. No hidden cost.
Can I export or share my memories?
Absolutely—every finished memory can become something beautiful to share.
Turn an individual Memory Stamp or Monthly Archive into a beautifully composed image, ready to save, send or post using our share options. It gives the people you love a finished keepsake of your precious moment, while your Momento Archive remains your own private place.
What is my Momento Journal made from?
Handcrafted in materials chosen to age beautifully.
Your Journal is made with carefully sourced premium genuine leather, a lined cotton textile folio, and unique charms and hardware. Choose from A5, A6, B5 or B6 to find the size that suits the way you write.

Will it work with my phone, and does anything need charging?
Nothing in the Journal needs charging.
The Momento ring works with supported NFC-enabled phones, and the included card gives you another way to open the same Archive in your mobile browser. No battery. No Bluetooth. No pairing.

What exactly is a Memory Stamp?
A Memory Stamp connects one calendar date to a title, up to nine photos and one Voice Note alongside what you wrote by hand. Open it whenever you want to revisit the photographs, replay the Voice Note, or create a composed image to save or share.
Can I create a Memory Stamp from an earlier date?
Absolutely. Choose a past calendar date, create its Memory Stamp, and add the photos and Voice Note you want to keep with it. A meaningful day does not expire because you did not save it immediately.
How much can the included 1GB hold?
Around 2,000 photos, 10+ hours of Voice Notes, or a mix of both. Photos and Voice Notes share the same 1GB Archive, so the exact total depends on the files you add.
Can someone see my Momento Archive just by touching it?
No. Tapping or scanning Momento on an unauthorised device leads to the PIN screen. Your memories stay behind the six-digit Owner PIN you create when you first open Momento.
What happens when my Momento Archive begins to fill?
Nothing disappears. Momento lets you know when you have almost used your included storage. If you reach 1GB, everything already in your Archive remains available; adding new media pauses until you free some space.
Can I edit or delete a Memory Stamp?
Yes. Return to an existing Memory Stamp whenever you want to manage or delete its contents. Removing content also frees space in your Archive.
Can I use Momento on more than one device?
Yes. Open Momento on a supported device and enter your Owner PIN to access your Archive. On an unauthorised device, your saved memories remain protected behind the PIN screen.
Can I export or share a finished memory?
Yes. You can turn an individual Memory Stamp into a composed image to save, send, or post, while the rest of your Momento Archive remains private.
